For 2011, our family is going to be focusing on learning more of Jesus Christ. By the end of the year, we hope to have covered His life, His ministry and how to be more like Him. Come along with us and feel free to follow our plan with your own family! Leave comments on your experiences. The more, the merrier!
- January through April (Easter) we will be focusing on His life.
- May through November we will be focusing each month on a different attribute of Christ to further develop in our own lives.
- December will be a month of general focus on the significance of His birth and life.

Annunciations

Blessed Art Thou Among Women by Walter Rane

Today, we read Luke 1:5-38 which teaches us about Zacharias being told by an angel that Elisabeth would have a son and how, because he questioned how this could be, he was struck dumb until the birth of his son. We also talked about Mary being told that she would become pregnant with Jesus. Then we read Matthew 1:18-24 which is where Joseph has a dream that tells him about Mary and the baby she is carrying. Another great discussion!
